Hi Bob,
You and the DPW do a great job. Noticed the new paving on Main Street has a seam that will probably open sooner than later. A lot of streets newly paved have the same issue. Seen it in other cities also. Is the paving company responsible for sealing the seams? Don't know why they don't manually grade the seams while putting down the initial asphalt. The seam on Eastern Ave has opened up big time. Unfortunatley, these seams shorten the life of the paving. Many cities seal the cracks and seams as needed. The pavers should be responsible for sealing the seams.

to City and Taxpayers. Not getting our money's worth. The paving company should be required to install seamless newly paved streets. If not, get rid of them. Should be inspected while they are doing the job. Newly paved street from Oak Grove station to Hunts Video has no seems at all.
