Description
Parking in backyard as well as running an auto repair business out of the garage. This was reported previously but doesn't seem to be corrected. It is the understanding of the neighbors that this is a residential neighborhood and running a repair shop is not permitted under zoning codes.

Today there was a car parked in the back yard, but that is not a violation in Ward 7. Wards 4, 7, and parts of 5 and 6 are exempt from the lawn parking ordinance.
There was no automotive work taking place. I left my business card for the property owner to contact me about the report of an unpermitted business.

Thanks Mr. Ward. Did you happen to notice the 2 unpermitted additions? The one on the back of the house and one on the garage. The garage concerns us because as part of the addition they put in a pit to be able to work under cars. None of us wan to live next to a contaminated sight.
It does seem that most work takes place late in the day and evening as people are getting out of work and dropping off and picking up cars.
