I've only been living here a few months and noticed this issue. People park on the side walk to avoid having their side view mirrors clipped, which has happened at least 3 times since July 2020.

To the west of Bergen ave, Claremont ave becomes a one way street. ALL of Claremont ave should be a one way street.

and a lot of folks park partially on the side walk which ruins the side walk

I just saw a BMW X3 parked on Claremont get hit by a truck and they drove off. This is the second time this week a car got sideswiped

Jen - Is this something Traffic and Transporation has looked into? Please provide an update.

Especially since union is a one way and probably 40 percent wider...

This definitely needs to be a one way street. It’s not wide enough for cars to pass in two directions.
