We don't have any kind of parking bans such as even/odd side parking during storms, here on Grafton Street. Consequently, the neighbors are doing the job of the Public Works, digging themselves out the best they can.There are walls of snow 4 feet wide all over this street and I won't walk in the street without my reflective vest-- so that I'm not mowed down. I pay significant property Tax to keep my street plowed for my tenants-this street isn't going to be normal or safe for a long time to come...especially with more snow on the radar for Friday 1/21/11. It is ironic that Public Works was here to tow my car for street sweeping on 12/01/2011 for leaf sweeping during a Hurricane Force Wind and rain storm--in which my car was found in a lake of water at the Columbus impound. So far, that has set me back well over $400.00, after cab fair, impound fees, electrical damage to the car's computer system and ignition wiring--haven't gone to court yet to fight the parking ticket, there were no signs posted on my handicapped parking sign where I park . I don't know how they justify their ill-planned decisions.
