Description

Every day groups of dog owners meet up at Chantilly Park and allow all their dogs to run around off leash, despite the park sign that states all dogs must be leashed. I’ve noticed this around 4pm, but it may be occurring more frequently. Not all the owners have control of their dogs, and some dogs charge at people and leashed dogs walking anywhere near the park. If the city wants to convert Chantilly Park into a dog park, please put up a fence so it’s a safe environment, but currently it’s not a dog park and it’s not safe for anyone else. These individuals have made it very difficult for others to safely visit the park.
