Description

Something needs to be done about people speeding down Pope St. There is a bend in the street which blocks sight of people visiting the memorial. To many times people have been standing in the street to take pictures only to be scared off by someone speeding down the bend with no regard for people who might be in the area. This street is used by to many people who want to cut around the intersection at Boston and Essex, while thats not the problem, something needs to be done maybe a speeding light or speed trap. Also the street could use some updated ONE WAY signs as tourists are constantly taking right hand turns out of the Walgreens parking lot driving up the WRONG WAY up Pope St. As a neighbor of the memorial I see this all summer long. Somebody is eventually going to be critically hurt.
