Agree with this SCF user -- Neighbors need the appropriate City department to respond immediately and explain the new purpose for this corner property and if a new development has been approved by the City, and if so, when it was approved and under what specific conditions.

This site is continuously monitored and under citation. After many attempts to contact the owner since the beginning of winter, he has informed me that he is having someone new maintain the property for him. I have listed the recurring issues and lack of maintenance to the owner. I will be monitoring until full compliance is visible. There is no business that will be done at the property to my knowledge.

Thanks LCI. I was told by a kid who was cleaning up that someone planned on opening a business there. He thought it might be lawn care and car detailing. Whatever... it's not zoned for any business and needs to be watched.

Still mysterious as to what's going on with this property. Tarps still up. What appears to be intermittent half- hearted clean up. I'm not home during the day so I have no idea what is happening during the week. Every once in a while on the weekend I see someone show up and open the gate and enter the property. This needs to continue to be monitored.

LCI, City Development, and City Plan apparently know about this possible development, according to Alder Richard Furlow. The property is noted as a residential zoned property and the neighborhood residents are not happy with the possibility of it becoming something else. We surely would like to have communication from the city about what's really going on.

Any word on this LCI? It really is a mess. It is becoming totally overgrown which may not be a bad thing. Perhaps it will revert to nature with trees growing through the roof etc. It it weren't for the possibility of illegal dumping, I'd say let it go.

The truck was removed from the site.
