Write a letter to the Traffic Authority? Do you mean write a letter and place it inside an envelope and affix a postage stamp and then mail it via USPS? How environmentally friendly is that? The 1990's ended a long time ago. Why don't we utilize today's technology? I'm sure our town's Clean & Green Commission would agree.
Our Traffic Authority has an email account. The address is hta@hamden.com
Another advantage to using email is that the the text can easily be uploaded into our Agenda Center which is used to keep records of various town meetings allowing people to more easily search for its contents. Currently, the hard copy letters mailed to our Traffic Authority are scanned and uploaded. This requires us to scroll through dozens of pages of text that can't be searched without downloading special software to be able to search the text in those scanned documents.
I can't be the only person who sees how we are not using today's technology to optimize various work processes in our town. If our town would like any tutorials on how to achieve these goals and streamline processes, please let me know.
