Please see the response provided by the Engineering staff:

"Thank you for bringing your concern to the County’s attention. The current NW 16th Ave project does not include widening to accommodate a designated bicycle lane. Cyclist are expected to utilize the sidewalks or travel lanes and obey all traffic laws pertaining to bicycle ridership on a public transportation facility.

In regards to vehicles entering and exiting the business at the subject address, this business currently has a full access at both driveways. The County currently does have plans to restrict this access at this time. However, the County will continue to monitor the intersection to determine if any improvements are required at this location.

an update from the Engineering staff:“We have looked at this location and made an evaluation that at this time this location does not warrant a “No Turn On Red” sign. We have checked for adequate sight distance and there is no history of safety issues at the intersection. We will continue to monitor this intersection in the future. If you have any other questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact our office.”
