All the flower beds around the pavilion are in need of some serious weeding. Grass is coming through the pine straw and it looks like it has been a long time since it was cleaned out. I have reserved the pavilion for a weeding in October and hope that this will be taken care of before then. The Park is such a beautiful place you would expext more in the way of maintance in the landscape.

Lawton Park was recently sprayed with herbicide. As soon as the weeds die, they will be removed from the beds. As we get an event list from Parks and Recreation for rentals, we make sure the grounds are in good order. We will make sure it is taken care of before your wedding.

Oh my, what a remarkable difference I can see at Lawton Park, good things are going on. Everyone should go by and check it out. The park is on its way to being beautiful.
