We've had a real problem the past several weeks with speeding up Eld (from State to Orange). We've seen speeds as high as 50-60 miles an hour. Now with the new school setup in the old ESUMs facility, we have far more students walking (and crossing) Eld. This is an accident waiting to happen; given the speeds involved, it will be fatal. Can we at least get a speed limit sign as a reminder?

Please living in the New Haven area is normal, same for my street people drive through it like a racetrack not stopping, what is a sign going to do if people cannot obey stop signs the proper way.

I live on Pearl and often see people flying by at excessive speeds as well. These streets that connect Orange and State really need to have speed bumps. A couple of cops actually giving out tickets wouldn't be a bad way to teach people to slow down around here as well!

The speeding is a problem on Bradley Street as well, especially the morning and afternoon commuter traffic. It can feel dangerous to get in an out of a parked car. Speed bumps would be a terrific solution.
