Description
I filed a report this morning about a loop detector on Monroe southbound at Central that did not detect my metal bicycle:
case #200310-000651
https://seeclickfix.com/issues/7531093-monroe-sb-at-central-loop-detector-fails-to-detect-bicycles
It was immediately closed with a cryptic
"Thank you for submitting this request, it has been resolved. Notes:

Resolved. Closed in VUEWorks
------- "
This provides me, a member of the public, with zero useful information about what is being done, has been done, or will be done in the future to address the issue I am raising.
What does "Closed in VUEWorks" mean has been done about the loop detector that doesn't work?

I doubt that you will get an official reply, so here's my unofficial guess: "Closed" means that the complaint has been transferred to the relevant department. "VueWorks" is a software program that cities use to manage such things.
Longer version, from the VueWorks website: "VUEWorks® software is an affordable, web-enabled Integrated GIS, Enterprise Asset Management solution. Our software was designed for use by State and Local governments, utilities, corporations, schools, theme parks, and other organizations that need to track the condition, minimize failure risk, and optimize expenditures and service delivery of their physical assets." And a loop detector would be a physical asset.
It is a shame that the relevant departments never report back on ClickFix to let us know what they have done in response to the complaint. I'm thinking that's something we should recommend to the Mayor and Council.

"Checked for any loop detector faults. There was a NB bike pedestrian on bike loop and got detected and served checked settings on bike loop amp and verified NB @ SB are adjusted correctly. Observed location for several cycles.
Traffic engineering has a work order system called VueWorks. ""Resolved. Closed in VUEWorks"" is a standard response after and issue is taken care of or looked into. This is due to two different reporting programs merging."
