Were those trees legally removed? Planting a few tiny trees does not mitigate chopping down mature ones. Shouldn't this act be investigated? Please don't just add trees to a list and then close the ticket.

Thank you for being so quick onto this. Your crew came this morning to grind out the stumps and told me that some replanting was on the docket. I would be interested in knowing what tree species you are hoping to plant. I just tried to look online but for some reason the server was not working. The issue remains however that some of our trees are being butchered by the Eversource tree crews. I know their top priority is to keep the lines free but it should not be impossible to achieve that and have a decent looking tree.
In any event, thanks very much for being so responsive - and the crew this morning was great.

Planting at the two locations on Erie St is currently planned for Fall 2020, pending sidewalk repairs. I am just one resident and not even immediately abutting the two locations but with that said my suggestions would be (for the odd-numbered site, no wires): American Linden or Armstrong Red Maple; or Black Oak.
