Macon-Bibb County assigned this issue to N. Floyd, Traffic Engineering

I noticed this just yesterday. Because of strong neighborhood activists a few years ago I would step out into the street and speak to people who were going the wrong way, this had almost stopped, But has now picked up again. A directional sign painted in the street might help, but the neighbors need to realize they need to step out and take an active part as well to be effective.

This is also happening on Johnson Avenue as cars and delivery vehicles are turning onto Johnson Avenue from Coleman Ave.
I believe most of the violators are fully aware of what they are doing. What they need is a traffic ticket with a fine!

I am disappointed the street cannot be marked in a way that makes this more clear to drivers. I watched a postal carrier go down it the wrong way two days ago. Maybe it needs to become a two way street?
