Description
The large cement sewer-type planters that the Public works are using in the old north end area's to quell/hinder traffic are nearly all covered with territorial Tags. While not the most attractive structure to be placed on city streets, having them used in this manner is even more unattractive. Also, the big white bollards that surround these planters are bent all up and some are up-heaved and lying on the ground strode about. Shouldn't these be picked up and stored by public works annually? they must be costly. this whole thing should be re-thought .

This has been repainted several times this year but is a frequent location for tagging. Feel free to re-open it if it needs to be addressed again in 2021.
These planters are scheduled to be replaced with permanent curb extensions in 2021 or 2022.
The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
