Description

The intersection is a frequent place for near collisions. Many drivers do not interact with the intersection as a round-about resulting in drivers not yielding and simply speeding down the hills that enter the intersection without being aware of other drivers. Pedestrians are often left guessing whether folks will appropriately yield. The intersection can be further overwhelmed by double parking (both by individuals and businesses, such as UPS) and unloading/loading of large trucks (typically in the morning) for the convenience store.

Safety device may be improved signage at the intersection and signage or devices to slow speeds when approaching the intersection, particularly from hills.
