Description

I read where the gym floor at Joyner Park had to be sanded so soon after installation because of a "restriping issue" and it "is part of the warranty and will not cost the town". I believe this will cost the town dearly in the long run. This floor should have lasted 4 to 5 years before complete sanding would have been required, if properly maintained. We are sanding this floor after only 4 months. The premature sanding of this floor means that it is losing 20-25% of its useful life in 4 months instead of 5 years. This floor should have lasted 20- 25 years before complete replacement. We just cut 5 years off of the useful life. Something is wrong here.
