That repair is insignificant!
This section of the road, is still the worst part of Ruggles, and it still bounces the car around when you drive through it.
With all the taxes we pay, why can this section of the road be really repaired?

Ruggles St. is FULL of potholes, my car's shock absorbers are damaged. Its a shame, Westborough being one of the towns with the highest taxes in MA.

The pot holes on Ruggles Street will be addressed ASAP after we have completed our snow operations. Also, for more detail on how your tax dollars are allocated, please refer to the budget pie charts on the Towns website. You will see that only 5% is allocated to the DPW, and of that, road maintenance is one of our responsibilities. Potholes and road breakdown has not been repaired and its August 2016! The portion between wayside and Adams is beyond minimal repair. It should be put on the repave road list. Please advise when this will be done. It is affecting all our vehicles and has been like this for several years.

Ruggles road in this area has been a mess for years. The attempted patching is woefully inadequate. Repaving this area is long overdue!!!

Ruggles Street is on the Road Maintenance Plan for repair, however, the timing and type of repair has not yet been determined. If you would like to offer input, you may contact the DPW Director.

Ruggles st is probably the WORST maintained rd in the US, can anyone recall that ever being maintained? at least think of all the taxes those many big homes there pay!

I checked with the town last week. They said it due to be worked on late fall (if they can fit it in before winter) or the very early spring. They will strip down the area that need work and repave. At least we wont have the spider web, bumpy road patch any longer.

This information is correct. Ruggles Street will be worked on next spring.

Based on your prior posts, you mentioned that Tuggles was going to be addressed late last fall or very early spring. When will it actually be done? Other towns are in full swing repairing and redoing roads.

Is anyone from the DPW going to respond/update this issue???????????

I just got off the phone witn Mr. Walden of the DPW. My understanding is they plan on doing repair work to this area this fall (was pushed back from this spring) and will redo the road next year. Definitely not what I/we hoped to hear, but wanted to pass along the information.

Thanks for the update. However, this issue is over 3 and 1/2 years old and AGAIN continues to be deferred until a future date. One has to question why it never gets done despite the fact that over 700 people have viewed this message. This is very disappointing support from our city officials!

I completely agree. Especially since I was informed last fall that it was going to be addressed late fall of 2016, but no later than very early this spring. Very frustrating.
