Good morning Lauren,
I requested Kurt’s recommendation on the imminent issue of correcting the pavement markings and signs south of Sumter on Thornydale (see my original enquiry below) that Eddie brought to our attention per a discussion he had with Bill Landers (PCDOT inspector).
Pavement markings were put in per plan by a contractor but the plan did not take into account the bike lane at that location.
Kurt discussed it with Rob this morning and although he wanted us to act on it as soon as practical, based on some extenuating conditions (detailed below & attachments) he instructed us to pass it up to your group for review and the work orders that will be needed to correct the issues.
