Whoever is feeding them needs to be reported to the animal control officer - NOBODY should be feeding wild animals (with the exception of birds)! I also heard (via the "grapevine") that someone in the Barnes/Clark St. area was feeding them (but no specific names were mentioned). Also, the coyotes are not the enemy, humans are - specifically, developers who are allowed to clear-cut large forested areas, leaving these animals homeless and with no choice but to assimilate to life in urban areas in order to survive. I understand that not all building projects can be stopped, but some can and are still allowed to go forward - money talks!
