Route 1/Orange Avenue's Eastbound left-turn lane onto Elle T. Grasso Blvd is much too short.
When the turn lane is backed up, it blocks motorists in the second lane. As seen in the photo, buses use the remaining right lane to stop for passengers, leaving the intersection in gridlock.

This part of Route 1 is wide enough to extend the turn lane. Once the snow and ice clears, can we put some paint down and lengthen these lanes, please? The congestion and dangerous maneuvers are causing a lot of problems.

(The other turn lanes could also use to be lengthened at this intersection, too!)
