Description
Dumpster lid is open, various debris strewn about falling into the waterway behind the Sub-Way & Pizza Shop.
More concerning issue: I have observed on at least 2 different occasions multiple customers dining in the establishment during the COVID-19 Emergency Order by Gov. Baker, which declares that all on-premises consumption of food or drink is prohibited.
Additionally, even when there aren't individuals dining in the establishment, at various points, I have observed customers sitting in the establishment waiting for their orders. I was hesitant to report this, as I imagine this is a challenging time for food establishments, however it seems to be a pattern and the owner of the business appears to be taking the Emergency Order lightly. We all need to pitch in to prevent COVID-19.
Framingham Health Department --thank you for all of your hard work during this time. As a resident, I greatly appreciate the sacrifice and commitment you are all making for our community. Thank you.

Greetings,
A Public Health Inspector investigated your complaint. The person in charge (PIC) was ordered to clean the back area and to keep the dumpster lid closed when not in use. As far as the public eating in the establishment, this was not observed by the inspector even at lunch time. The PIC was aware of the governor's order and has not allowed customers to dine in the establishment. He stated employees will periodically take breaks and eat their lunch in the dining area. This is acceptable. We highly advised the PIC to section off and label the designated area used by the employees only. As always, we provided education on social distancing and proper cleaning, sanitizing & disinfecting.
Thank you again for your email.
