The MWRA experienced a very high demand last night that resulted in some discoloration. Since we’re basically the end of the line in the water system, this discoloration did not reach Chelsea until this morning. The water is safe; just discolored by sediments stirred up in the water due to the excessive demand. The water will clear up just run your water for a bit.
