Thank you for using Pinellas Park Click & Fix. This item has been assigned to Community Compliance Specialist Nathan Gatlin under City CE Report No. 202000494 (this Report will remain open until it is resolved or a final hearing/legal action is taken). The City receives complaints various ways; phone calls, email, walk-ins, social media, and Click & Fix, as well as the Specialist proactively addressing issues that can be legally seen from the right-of-way. Again, thank you for taking time to report this item. The Community Compliance Specialist will work hard to get this item resolved for you and the Pinellas Park community!
Tax payers pay for those roads...they are not private. It is considered a main entrance. Also...that gate doesn't work half the time anyway! It was just a way to get the residents to pay $25 per remote. Also...it allows the "Condo Association" to raise the maintenance fees for every senior resident!
Tax payers DO NOT pay for maintaining the roads in The Mainlands. All the roads in The Mainlands are owned and maintained by the residents of The Mainlands. You know very little about a community that you do not live in.
This gate was approved and properly permitted (Permit #2019003210), therefore this case is closed. For further questions regarding the permit you may contact the Building Development Division at (727) 369-5647.
