Thanks for letting us know about this concern. While city parks are not closed it is imperative that park visitors practice social distancing and if possible wear masks over their nose and mouth to limit the spread of COVID-19. We want to continue to allow access to the parks but need everyone's help in sharing best practices within your networks to limit the behavior outlined. We strongly encourage everyone to check out the city’s crisis hub at https://covid19.newhavenct.gov/ where you’ll find all current information about COVID-19 in New Haven. You can also call (203)946-6316 for non-emergency issues or (203)946-4949 for health concerns. In the event of an emergency always dial 911. Please share this information with your friends, family, and social media channels to get the word out on best practices while outdoors as the weather continues to improve. Thank you.
Can anything be done about large groups of children playing in front yards? There is a home on West Rock Avenue that has 7 or 8 kid’s dropped off each night to play?
