Hi Ryan and other concerned citizens,

I continue to receive complaints about the condition of our streets, and I send each complaint to DPW for action.

It is up to the Mayor's Office to call a snow emergency. The Council does not have the authority to do so.

We are, however, investigating the procedures and regulations that have been established in other municipalities to determine if we should modify our own laws.

In the meantime, I strongly suggest that you send your concerns to the Mayor's Office at mayorsoffice AT troyny.gov. Feel free to CC the Council at all-members AT troycitycouncil.com.

I don't know if the Mayor or any members of the administration are reading these SeeClickFix reports, but I'd like to standardize on this service (or something else if that's what citizens want) in the future.

try driving and parking in downtown troy, this too is a joke!!!
parked cars on both sides of the streets make this a very cumbersome place to drive! I wish I knew how many cars have been hit due to the cars sticking out into the road

why can't troy do things like other cities: because they do NOT CARE!!!!

The City Council has no control over this matter. I suggest you call the Mayor.
