i was wondering why that kept happening myself. i thought it might have been a city employee with a big truck doing work in the area, but it is consistently every day now.

I say we put a note on the sign kindly asking the person not to move it and explaining why we like the sign in the middle of the street where it belongs. If they continue to move the sign to the side of the road every day, I think we should devise a clever plan to humiliate and/or meet whoever is doing this.

This is also now happening at Court and Olive, so someone is going around removing them from the street. Perhaps we can get the city (or really, the manufacturer) to make the base heavier? While I'll admit it's slightly awkward to carry, anyone can pick them up, which seems odd to me. PS. I've been putting the Court/Olive sign back in the road when I see it on the sidewalk.

I am really tired of moving this sign back into the road. I find it on the sidewalk several times a week. I don't know why someone keeps moving it out of the road--the only thing I can think of is that perhaps a large truck or bus cannot make the turn from Bradley onto Orange with the sign in the road. In any case, this is getting really annoying.

It's back in the street

Yesterday I saw the sign sitting on the sidewalk looking pretty beat up. Today the sign was no longer there. I hope it was the city who picked it up, but I kind of doubt it, seeing as how today is a Sunday coming off of a long weekend. At any rate, a new sign is going to be needed here next spring.
