Public Works determined there was no grate located in the right-of-way on 5/14/20.

That's not true! There's a large metal grate for water to drain. One of the bars is completely broken off, leaving a wide enough space for a small foot or animal paw or a small animal to fall through. And it's right smack in the middle of the roadway!

Here's a picture of the grate in the middle of the roadway. It's approximately 35 - 40 feet from Holmes Avenue. The worst part is when leaves or dirt cover it, you can't see the broken piece, and someone is going to get hurt. The grate needs to be replaced. Thank you.
