Pioneer Cold Storage has refused to close to follow proper cleaning of the buildings after 2 employees have tested positive for Covid-19. Employees are still required to go into work, and have to use their own personal or sick time in order to stay home. Today, Monday April 27, 2020 they handed out masks to each employee to “band aid” the problem.

A. Please have city officials order this business to close for proper cleaning. This is a food storage warehouse where there are not only employees, but many truck drivers who are in and out of the facility each day. Handing out masks does not help the employees and their families at home.
