Alder Marchand,
Are you utilizing the following contact information?
Phone: 203-389-1074
Email: Ward25@newhavenct.gov

Yes, that is my home phone number, which I share with my wife and kids. I check it daily but not as often as my cell. Since this issue was posted, I have not gotten a single voicemail there related to this issue.
The ward25@newhavenct.gov is my official city email address, which I check daily, except perhaps on Sunday. My gmail account is actually easier for me to check often, since I can access it on my cell.

Alder Marchand,
Thank you for the information. Please allow me to offer my professional expertise. It would behoove you and make your job easier, if you were to heed the following advice:
1) Update your phone number at the following webpage to show your cell number. newhavenct.gov/gov/depts/alders/list_of_alders.htm
2) Enable email forwarding from Ward25@newhavenctDOTgov to adammarchand25@gmailDOTcom
3) Learn how to access Ward25@newhavenctDOTgov from your cell phone.
All 3 are possible. If anyone tells you it can't be done, that means you're speaking with the wrong person. If you personally choose not to follow this advice, that is obviously totally fine.
I hope this information helps.

I continue to push the City on this issue. in February I emailed Mayor Elicker and Corporation Counsel Pat King and asked about the ordinance recommended by Asst Chief Karl Jacobson LAST AUGUST. Yes, LAST AUGUST. No action had been taken and nobody from the BOA has taken an interest in working with us on this issue. For some reason it has become politically incorrect to enforce the laws on this issue and other quality of life issues in New Haven. It has been the NHPD, not our elected officials who have taken the lead on this issue.
I followed up again in March, still no action. I followed up yesterday and rec'd the following response from Asst Chief Jacobson:
____________________________
Dennis, I met with corporation counsel just yesterday on Zoom on this issue. The ordinance and efforts are moving forward. Thanks for your continued concern and assistance. There will be some activity soon.
AC Jacobson.

Personally, I have no problem with dirt bikes and ATVs on public roads or in parks. I used to engage in very similar activities when I was a kid and they're fun to watch; however, it's obvious most people don't share my view on this subject and what they're doing 𝙞𝙨 illegal.
Juvenoia? Ageism? I guess it doesn't matter. When enough people complain about anything, changes happen.
