after so many months, the street light is still OUT

Crews will start converting existing streetlight fixtures with energy-saving LED streetlights during the middle of September 2021 and the work request you submitted in MyMilpitas will be addressed as part of this effort. The conversion project has been delayed due to supply chain issues as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. By the end of 2021, all of the City's street lights will be equipped with LED lamps. The citywide retrofit will result in substantial energy cost savings, and the long life span of LED fixtures will yield reduced maintenance and repair costs.
