Thank you for submitting your issue report to Hamden Public Works. In an effort to improve tree maintenance operations in Hamden, the Town has hired a new Superintendent of Trees and is closing out issue reports submitted prior to 2021 that still remain in the See Click Fix system. If your issue still exists or remains a problem, please re-open your issue with a new comment within the next 7 days or you will be required to resubmit your issue as a new report. Please call Hamden PW at 203-287-2600 with questions.

The tree has been removed and we thank you. But the sidewalk is still is still separating. We put an orange cone over the area. Several neighbors walk their dogs and young kids ride bikes in the area. We don't want anyone to get hurt. Can you please have someone look at this area again.

THANK YOU FOR THE ORANGE CONE PLACEMENT.

The Engineering Department re-inspected the site on 8/31/2021. Based on our inspection of the condition of the sidewalk, this site has been elevated to our CLAIMS list. Based on current funding, we do not have a good estimate on when the replacement will be conducted, nevertheless, this area must be corrected, and will be done as quickly as I can get additional funding.
