How does May Street being 1-way slow down drug trafficking?
Streets are made into 1-way for a variety of reasons, most of them unsound. Cars go much faster on 1-way streets and I have seen that on May as cars whip off of State and on to Cedar Hill Avenue cutting through May at top speed.
Changing it to 2-way would be a traffic calming measure.
Isn't May wide enough to accommodate parking on both sides AND two-way traffic?
