We’ve been so bothered by this noise today! Glad to see a report & hope it will be stopped.

Still going on this morning! (5/16) I'd love to get some fresh air in my home on this lovely day, but the noise is so loud I'm finding it hard to keep my windows open :(

I've heard this noise before (and I heard it again this time). The last time I heard it I traced it to this same building -- the one in the photo -- on Mem Drive.

I've been bothered by this noise also. I live near Hastings Square park. It actually hurts my ears and makes it impossible to open our windows or sit on our porch.

If someone can orient me to the building in the photograph, I can look up who owns it, which might be helpful. If you have the street address, that's all I need. If you don't have the address, then answers to a couple of questions would help:
o Nemo said the building is on Mem. Drive. Does this mean that Mem. Drive and the river are on the other side of the building from where the photographer was standing?
o This would imply that, if the photographer was facing in the direction of Mem. Drive and the river when taking the photo, then the Hyatt would be to the photographer's left. Is this correct?

Original poster here- this is 620 Memorial Drive, owned by MIT. Yes, Hyatt is to the left. I cannot be 100% certain it was from this building, but my neighbor confirmed that it sounded loudest to him at this spot as well. Thanks others for commenting- I also found painful walking outdoors that day and could hear it even through earplugs inside!

The building is at 640 Mem Dr— my dad always said it was an old Ford assembly plant. Boston Biomedical and Sanofi are the businesses in the building now, I believe (though I don’t know who owns it)

Thank you for your report. The building pictured is 620 Memorial Drive, which is owned by MIT. We will contact them and have the appropriate facilities manager address this issue.
