Also call the PD District Manager for the area- you may get a better long term resolution. Its obvious ticketing isn't resolving the issue. Which is the extent of what T & P can do- (no offense)- I did see a ticket on the truck in the last week or so, I'm sure its just being removed by the owner. Sargent Forte can really get things done. Tonight is Saturday, Oct. 12. There are TWO 18 wheelers parked on Jewel St. near Whalley, in front of the cemetery.. Neither truck has a ticket on it. I have contacted both the PD District Manager and Velisha in Parking and Traffic. Nothing has been done yet again.

I drove by this afternoon (Fri 10/19), and there was a ticket on the drivers side window! So, good news here. Thanks NHPD.

I have had some luck in the past calling the trucking company. In many instances the drivers don't own the trucks and the trucking company owner doesn't realize where the truck is being parked. I tell them that they should contact the driver and get him/her to stop parking illegally. I also let them know that neighbors are doing everything possible to get the law enforced and tickets issued. Since ultimately the ticket is the responsibility of the owner it wake them up.

We are working to identify the driver and his/her address. We have ticketed it several times and officers have been attempting to contact the trucking company. work in progress.

The white truck is gone today, Tuesday, Oct. 22, I'm glad to say. Thanks to all of you who finally made this happen.

Illegal truck parked yesterday and today on Jewel St. near cemetery. Yesterday I commented that the truck, NJ plates 634W, Eastern Freight Ways, Inc., was there about 5 PM. This morning at 11 AM, truck is still there, no ticket on the windshield. Is there a reason that these trucks cannot be booted during the weekend? Even when a ticket is issued, what good does that do?

We are continuing to monitor this problem and are issuing tickets as we witness the vehicle in violation. I'm not sure if its a different vehicle/plate each instance(we have ticketed multiple vehicles at this location fitting the description) but per city ordinance we must continue ticketing until the tickets issued remain unpaid to the point of the boot/tow threshold, at which point we can pursue further action.

Thank you for explaining why these trucks have not had further action other than tickets on them. It's upsetting that nothing else can be done under the city ordinance but at least I understand the issue now.

After spending several weeks ticketing trucks at this location we have seen two weeks of no activity at this location. We are closing out this issue, but encourage you to repost if this becomes a problem again in the future. Thank you for your help in this matter.
