Echoing the recent reports of my neighbors, there are people camping in Tijeras arroyo, up on the hill close to the back walls of the homes on Eugene Court. They are leaving litter everywhere, including throwing beer cans in our backyard. So incredibly disturbing for my young kids to find gross beer cans with beer in them in their little backyard. If these campers have a permit (doubtful), it needs to be revoked. Either way, they need to get out of the open space. I feel bad for homeless folks but they can’t just act like this with no regard for anyone else. It’s disgusting. This area is accessed most easily through the East Singing Arrow Park entrance. Please help with this ever-worsening health issue with a high concentration of homeless folks (& the corresponding garbage & human feces) in & around Singing Arrow Park.
