For the past few years we have had a Blocked Drainage situation in front of 300 Columbia St. Cambridge resulting in a Swamp-like situation that is a breeding ground resulting in tons of mosquitoes and other pests. A pool about the size of two parked cars forms and sits here. for many weeks after any cumulative rainstorms as there is no drainage. I am not sure if the street drainage is blocked, but there sits all summer a pond of mud, gasoline, trash and anything else that is not getting cleaned and results in such a strong smell by mid summer we cannot open our windows and so many mosquitoes we have bites if we exit the front door. Rats from an adjacent house under construction make it hazardous to use our front door. Could someone please inspect the pool and unblock the drainage, install drainage or repave the area so that a pool does not form and sit for weeks after any rainstorm forming a swamp in front of ours house.
