Description
There has been a resumption of speeding by large trucks and motorcycles on Fresh Pond between Concord and Huron, beginning at 4:00 am.
These vehicles are traveling at highway speeds - not 25 mph as listed. This seems very unsafe. Could you post a policeman with a traffic gun?

I too have witnessed increased speeding on this stretch of Fresh Pond Pkwy and am alarmed.
I have called the State Police asking for enforcement, but have seen none.
Traffic fatality rates have increased despite fewer cars on the road.
Please do NOT simply shuffle this plea for enforcement off to the State Police as we have seen done too many times in the past.
The problem of speed has worsened considerably since traffic volume has decreased due to the Coronavirus shutdown.
Cambridge Police DO have the ability to cite speeders on this stretch of road. We residents have witnessed this on occasion.
Please enforce the law on this very dangerous stretch of road.
We are residents of Cambridge and need our police department’s help.

We appreciate the work of the Cambridge Police on our dangerous stretch of Fresh Pond Parkway. I have seen CPD officers enforcing traffic laws here and I applaud them for it.
Sad to say I have not seen ANY enforcement presence from the State Police.

Speeding is still an issue - people seem to be going highway speeds in on Sunday evening. I really do not understand why the Cambridge police are failing to issue speeding tickets.
The comment 'that this is a state police issue' seems odd given that the land and roads on either side of of Fresh Pond Parkway are in the city of Cambridge. It is not a separated highway. The laws are not different there! Please enforce the posted 25 mph speed limit.

While I did see Cambridge police a few weeks ago I have seen neither them or the State Police enforcing the speed laws since.
This a problem of very long standing made much worse by the lighter traffic of these days.
Cambridge Police! Please come and ticket the speeders.

Oh yes, speeding is an ongoing and worsening problem on Fresh Pond Pkwy and groups of loud reckless motor cycles are more prevalent.

There has been no remedy for the continuing issue of speeding, recklessness and lack of enforcement on Fresh Pond Parkway.
