Description
Hi there,
As a Natick resident, I would like to report that most drivers in Hartfort street (between Boden Ln and Brookdale Rd) drive significantly above the speed limit, particularly in the evening or early morning when there is a low perceived chance of being caught by the police. I believe that this may be a result of the downwards slope between these two interesctions. The drivers are likely hitting speeds of well over 60 mph. Perhaps adding some speed bumps or increased signange (with penalty warning) will improve this unsafe situation.
Thank you.

As a resident who lives on that stretch of Hartford st, I will say that yes, we get the occasional speeder, but when businesses are open (not covid quarantine) AM and PM are 10MPH creep along due to traffic.
Weekends and summer nights get some motorcycles with illegally loud exhaust, but cars are not the big problem.
And speed bumps are one of the worst possible things I could imagine on Hartford St.
