It appears that this issue has not yet been resolved. I know the DPW may be busy addressing other issues but this is important as many people have adverse reaction to poison ivy which, as you know can effect ones health.

Thank you, It is sad to see those tress that once enhanced Chestnut Street completely destroyed for a gas line. A nice cleanup would make the area more appealing. The area is on the even number side of Chestnut Street. We hope to see this area reformed back to natural beauty.

Algonquin gas easement

It appears that this issue is not being handled in the proper manner. The gas company had been contacted prior and was advised that they are only responsible for clearing the area where the pipes are every 3 years. They have never given any consideration to taking actual "care" of the Towns property or consideration for the neighbors in the area. It may be a good idea if town officials contact the Algonquin Gas and walk them through what needs to be done not just once but on an ongoing bases.
