This same white, 18 wheeler is parked in front of the cemetery on Jewel St. as it has been for the past 2 weeks. No ticket is seen on its windshield. I am told often that the issue is being taken care of by Traffic and Parking. I see no movement on this issue. If this truck is illegally parked on Jewel St., it ought to be removed.

I was at the Beacher school park on Saturday. As I was driving home I saw a police officer get out and look at the truck, but NOT give a ticket. I know last summer that a truck parked in that area was rear ended by somebody coming over the hill and blinded by the sun. Seems there is little in the way of traffic enforcement in New haven

White truck still on Jewel St. 9:45 AM Friday Oct. 18. No action taken yet.

There was a ticket on this truck earlier in the week, but the ticket has now been removed. The city ought to (at least) install a parking meter, but that probably would be ignored, too.

Can we get a followup from Srgnt Forte about which officer looked at the truck and what action was taken if any ??

I'm glad this issue has been acknowledged by Traffic and Parking but what is the resolution? More tickets or towing or what? Please acknowledge.
