sadly, you have to call the police WHEN it is happening, or they can do nothing to stop it. And there is no way they will make it there while people are setting them off. Learned from several years of calling the police, and having them do a drive thru after the people setting off the fireworks were already gone- or better yet, between the times the people were out there.

Yes, I have experienced the same thing- calling the police but it being too late when they finally come by, if at all. My hope here was to take a different route and also have it documented.
