Any update on this tree? Every time it rains or it’s windy, branches fall and land everywhere. These pictures are from a previous rainfall after the tree was “pruned” (instead of being removed). During yesterday’s storm a branch fell and smashed the windshield of a car.

We all understand the need to protect and save living trees from destruction, but this tree poses a danger to residents and property. This tree needs to be cut down and replaced that way we can preserve the beauty that the tree provides, and continue to make our city more environmentally sustainable.

It is evident that this tree is rotting at the base of the trunk.

In an effort to improve our city tree maintenance services, the office responsible for this category has changed.
