The request mentions that there seems to be lighting infrastructure and might only need new bulbs. Can you please clarify if you mean the lighting attached to the utility pole in the attached photo? An inspector visited the site and did not notice any other infrastructure. Please attach a photo if you have one.

I do not have a photo, but there is currently not one working light and this poses an increased risk for pedestrians at night. If memory serves, I thought there were overhead lights, but not 100% in my recall. I’m sure the inspector would have noticed. I can recheck the next time I’m in that area, but don’t want you to delay action waiting for that.

Thank you for the update. There didn't seem to be much infrastructure under the bridge that looked salvageable. We will take another look. If there are lights on the wooden utility poles that aren't working then we'll need to know the pole number or a detailed location so that we can have PSE&G inspect and repair those lights.

There are lighting areas under the overpass as well that are not functioning. Looks like it was wired historically, but not sure if it’s in working condition. I have a pic but unsure how to share.

Will there be some type of lighting possible in this area? Frequently individuals are sleeping overnight in this area and it is difficult to see under the overpass making this dangerous for people traveling (especially as evening sets in earlier and earlier)..

Jersey City: what is the update? When will this be resolved?
