On the boardwalk, at The Grumond Park Play area entrance to the beach (3rd St) the water is restricted for swimming. The sign indicating the surfing area is posted so that you cannot see it from the stair entrance. Families park and unload kids and equipment, set up and then get whistled. Post the sign at the stair entrance. The greeter said it was not his job to inform families. On the beach, people are embarrassed to be whistled by the lifeguard and bothered to hve to uproot and relocate. Please post the sign at the entrance steps. It would be helpful not negative since you cant swim there anyway.
