Dear unhappy tenants, I'm very sorry to hear of your situation. However, I feel somewhat obliged to write that not all of Frank Carrano's tenants share the same experience. My husband and I lived in one of his apartments for two years (2010- late 2012). Our rent was indeed lower than what any of our friends paid, and we always considered ourselves very lucky. The apartment and the building overall were in decent shape (not perfect, but again better than what I have seen in other students' apartments). Whenever we had problems with plumbing or the like, we could call Frank's brother who lives close to New Haven, and he would respond in a relatively timely fashion. I do not mean to belittle your negative experience, but I was surprised to read our previous landlord's name here in such a context.

We are trying to delineate issues that are current and need the city's attention to resolve. Any issues prior to 2013 are being closed. If your issue remains and needs to be addressed by the city, please either re-open or open as a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks.
