Description

There are supposed to be two "No Parking" signs located here, but one of them has been removed.

I also reported this on 4/12/13. ID #462387 Followed up on 8/8/13 and was informed that the police chief has to approve it. It is very dangerous, I have to back up ALL the time to let someone that has turned off Dresden onto Conasauga get by. There is a blind spot with the grade of the hill and you cannot see. A head on collision is going to happen. My request is NO PARKING from Dresden to Village Park Drive. School buses have an issue here also.

I think that it is interesting that Chief Yandura need to approve the replacement of a sign that has already been permitted and placed at the site, only to later be removed by persons unknown. There's not enough room for traffic turning from Dresden when it encounters someone driving toward Dresden. It needs to be corrected.

Public Works has a work order in place to replace the missing No Parking signs. The work should be completed in the next two weeks. The replacement of existing signs does not require the approval of the Police Chief.

However, per the city ordinance, the Chief must approve any new or additional No Parking Restrictions. Public Works will coordinate with the Police to evaluate the extension of the No Parking zone on Conasuaga.
