Description
Large holes in the pavement, presumably created in conjunction with the apartment construction, had metal plates removed several weeks ago, but both large holes still remain unfilled. Drivers in the eastbound lane attempting to avoid these holes are driving into the busy westbound lane

I don't consider them closed until it's fixed, so I am voting to re-open

Richard - thanks for closing this. Hopefully Steve will start to get used to reading the commentary, clicking on the link of the dupe and voting on the existing ones in lieu of cutting and pasting the ... why I want it reopened comment.
Steve - Close doesn't mean resolved on this, it means, look at the exact same issue already reported (as noted in the comments).
Thanks!

Douglas - According to this website closed means fixed/resolved. there's a big image at the top that says
"This issue was fixed why don't you say Thanks?"
In addition, the link for the duplicate issue (issue 804804) is this issue. Richard linked back to this thread as proof of a duplicate, so there is nothing in this thread that points me to a duplicate. There are multiple blocks of Dresden that are a mess.
In fact, the original post says "previously covered by metal plates", so Richard's response to re-close the issue does not close the issue ("This work was completed by that developer and these plates have been removed so this particular issue is closed"). The issue is still an issue as originally stated:
There are "Large rectangular holes (previously covered by metal plates) within feet of each other"
This is a different issue than the existing plate issues, and the pavement is awful where this spot on Dresden is. It was wrongfully closed twice, and no information for a duplicate thread has been provided. Absent that, I'm going to request this be reopened.

We will look at this location again and reevaluate. The original issue which was closed was related to the plates and the final patching of the pavement where the plates were which was completed which is why this issue was closed. We will evaluate to see if the issue is with these patches or with different locations in that area.
Thanks

We have completed some additional temporary repairs along Dresden at this location. This section of Dresden is scheduled to be repaved this summer as part of our 2014 Paving Program. At that time the permanent patching will be done as part of the resurfacing project. This work is expected to be done by the end of August, however, it will need to be coordinated with the construction of the curb and sidewalk for the apartments under construction so the paving work is done after they complete their work.
Thanks
