UDOT, as well as the lieutenant Governor's office, had issued a reminder to candidates that campaign signs do not belong on public roadways at the beginning of the campaign season. I have reached out to the Lieutenant Governor's office regarding your concern and they will be sending out another reminder to candidates.
Because these are property of the campaign, UDOT may not remove or dispose of them if they do not impose a significant safety risk to the traveling public. Our office, as well as private citizens, are encouraged to reach out to the campaigns directly to have them remove their signs.
