I noticed that on the last Cochituate rail trail advisory committee meeting on 6/23, there was some discussion of “abutter outreach,” though what that entails I unfortunately do not know as I wasn’t able to attend that meeting. However, I will say that the CRTAC would do well to increase whatever abutter outreach they are doing. As a resident I have received no outreach or notification regarding the incredibly loud nuisance of construction that has been going on, intermittently and without warning, on the rail trail area surrounding the army labs for the last few months. Today, on my day off, I was woken by a literal bulldozer with tree removal attachment heads barreling down the path directly parallel to my windows. It has been and will continue to be extremely obnoxious, again with absolutely no notification to residents.
